Letting go ceremony & tree of wishes – a part of the Panchakarma retreat

We always conclude our panchakarma time with a Letting Go Ceremony as well as a wishing ceremony

In this ceremony, we are given time to pause and reflect on everything we no longer wish to carry with us in life - old patterns, worry, heaviness, or thoughts that no longer serve us. Symbolically, we were able to write this down and let the fire transform it into ash. Fire as an element stands for purification and transformation - leaving things behind and making space for something new.
We then let the ashes float away in the river below.

Afterwards we turned to the Tree of Wishes, where we got to hang up our dreams, intentions and wishes for the future. 🌳It became like a beautiful reminder that life is constantly moving forward; when we dare to let go, we also open ourselves up to what we long for.

To me, this is a strong reminder of the wisdom of Ayurveda - that balance is not only about the body, but also about the mind and the soul. That sometimes we need to let go to create space for something new to grow.

We ended the evening with Balinese dancing at our neighbour's, who is one of Bali's princes 🫅
After that, a farewell dinner with my absolutely fantastic group who have given me so much incredible love and I will be eternally grateful 🙏❤️

Where healing begins,

and harmony returns.
