The original Ayurvedic morning routine

According to Ayurveda, imbalance with nature's rhythms and energies is one of the main causes of ill health.

Nature's most powerful medicine does not lie in pills, but in simple daily routines done with mindfulness - helping the body to recover, find balance and glow from within.

Here comes the Ayurvedic Daily Routine (Dinacharya), a way back to your own rhythm, your body and your light. 🌞✨
🌞 WAKE UP WITH THE SUN
Wake at dawn, when the air is pure and clear. This time is called Brahma Muhurta, ”the hour of God”, and is the most auspicious for spiritual clarity and healing.

🙏 Gratitude
Start the day with a moment of gratitude. It can be a prayer, a simple thought or a mantra to Dhanvantari (the deity of healing in Ayurveda). Gratitude opens the heart and activates the body's healing frequencies.

💩 LET GO (Poop to glow!)
The body's natural morning cleansing is important. When the body is allowed to let go of yesterday's waste, you feel lighter, happier and healthier. Holding onto it creates heaviness and discomfort.

👀 Water wake
Rinse your eyes with cold water or rose water (Chakshu Dhauti) to cleanse, awaken energy and cut through the morning fatigue.

👅 MUNMAGI
Scrape the tongue (Jiva Mula Dhauti) with a tongue scraper, preferably made of copper. It releases yesterday's toxins and gives a clean start, I call it ”tongue poop”.

👃 Holy Spirit
Place a few drops of Nasya oil into each nostril. This opens the path for Prana (life force), calms the mind, strengthens the immune system and grounds the body.

🥛 FIRST SIP
Drink warm copper water or a light digestive drink in the morning. This awakens the digestion (Agni) and gently activates the metabolism.

🧘‍♀️ Flow
Move the body through gentle yoga, pranayama, mudras or meditation. This awakens life energy and brings the body into harmony.

🪔 ABHYANGA GLOW
Massage warm, nourishing oils into the skin from top to toe. This strengthens the immune system, reduces stress and fills the body with a loving presence.

🍲 PRANISK NÄRING
End the morning routine with a warm, spiced breakfast. Eat slowly, in stillness and with prayer or presence - to truly take in the nourishment of life.

✨ These simple steps can change how you feel, day by day. Ayurveda teaches us that healing does not happen in big steps – but in small, sacred habits, repeated with love and presence.

🌿💛 Are you ready to start weaving this rhythm into your life?

Where healing begins,

and harmony returns.
