Agnihotra – Fire Ceremony & Meditation

One of the oldest spiritual healing or meditation practices within Hindu rituals related to agni/fire is agnihotra – the sacred homa. The spiritual technique is a type of fire sacrifice that was practiced by Indian sages thousands of years ago.
It is also known as a small yagna (yagna is a form of fire sacrifice, but on a larger scale).

Agnihotra homa can become a complementary shakti or energy for us as we all live in a very close relationship with nature.

The ceremony is held to release negative energies and emotions.

After lighting a fire-offering ceremony, 700 mantras will be chanted whilst objects such as a coconut with offerings will be used as a focus for your thoughts and feelings.
This ceremony is performed to rid oneself of and burn these thoughts/feelings in the sacred fire.

Where healing begins,

and harmony returns.
