These are wonderful qualities when they are in balance, providing calm, endurance and strength.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">However, when kapha becomes too dominant, digestion can feel sluggish. Food stays in the stomach for too long, appetite decreases, and the body may start to produce more mucus and heaviness.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Kapha therefore needs:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Heat<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Movement<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Lightness<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Stimulant<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">This is why kapha loves:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Fresh ginger<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Black pepper<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Trikatu<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Warming spices<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Pungent (strong) flavour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">A cup of warm ginger tea before a meal can sometimes work wonders for a sluggish kapha digestion.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">What often worsens the condition is:<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Cold drinks<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Too much dairy<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Heavy and rich meals<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Large quantities of raw vegetables and salad<\/li>\n<li dir=\"auto\">Eating late in the evening<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">So sometimes it's not about eating less \u2013 but about stoking the fire a little more.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x14z9mp xat24cr x1lziwak x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">No more cold.
